Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta
August 27 - August 30
Dartmouth is steeped in history, as is the Regatta: it is one of the oldest in the country. The earliest recorded Regatta was in 1822, with 2025 seeing the 180th Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta take place.
Rowing and Sailing are at the very core of Dartmouth Regatta week, incorporating the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. It is all about the river and the sea. The competition is fierce and the fun is full on against the magnificent, scenic backdrop that is the South Hams.
The rowing includes local, WEARA and pilot gig competitions, all offering spectacular sport on the beautiful River Dart. The first-class sailing regatta for yachts, keelboats, sportsboats, and dinghies, is renowned throughout the UK and organised by our Joint Sailing Regatta Committee.
