Dartmouth Food Festival
Every October the Dartmouth Food Festival takes over the centre of town.
A wide variety of local food and drink providers create a wonderful atmosphere, with lots sensory triggers at play.
This year is the 20th Anniversary of our renowned Festival, so come along and indulge between Friday 25th and Sunday 27th October.
Dart Music Festival
Since 2004 the Town has played host to the Dart Music Festival.
Held in May this is a chance to shake off the winter cobwebs, and enjoy a range of musical tastes across 20 outdoor and indoor venues.
The dates for 2025 are Friday 16th, through to Sunday 18th May. Keep an eye out for more details on the line up when its announced nearer the time.
Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta
One of the highlights of the summer calendar in Dartmouth!
In 2025 we will be bringing you the 180th Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. The fun starts with Family Fun Weekend on Saturday 23rd August 2025 through to the 25th, followed by the Opening Ceremony on Wednesday 27th August 2025 and Shoreside and River events running through to Saturday 30th August 2025. With the Fireworks at 9pm on that Saturday.
Dartmouth Pride
Launched in 2021, Dartmouth Pride creates a welcoming space for our local and visitor LGBTQ+ community to connect.
Dartmouth is a place of kindness and diversity, filled with remarkable individuals from all walks of life.

Dartmouth Book Festival
A first this year the Book Festival is designed to be a wonderful addition to the busy calendar of events in the town.
Dartmouth has a large number of authors in the area, so this is a superb way to showcase their work and authors from further afield.
Come and join us between Friday 20th and Saturday 21st September.
Dartmouth Shakespeare Week
Each year The Inn Theatre Company, a locally based group, put on a wonderful production of Shakespeare at Dartmouth Castle. This is a truly beautiful backdrop for the baird’s plays – a stunning evening event.
This year the production is Much Ado About Nothing, showing daily between Tuesday 30th July and Saturday 3rd August.
Dartmouth Classics
The Dartmouth Classics consists of two days of racing for classic yachts and dayboats. The boats gather in Dartmouth in the days before the event, and racing takes place in Start Bay, visible from the South West Coast Path.
Dartmouth Classics will take place on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th July. The event is part of the Classic Channel Regatta, so we are expecting up to 100 participant boats.
