Dartmouth Shakespeare Week
Each year The Inn Theatre Company, a locally based group, put on a wonderful production of Shakespeare at Dartmouth Castle. This is a truly beautiful backdrop for the baird’s plays – a stunning evening event.
This year the production is Richard III, showing daily between 29th July to 2nd August.

Dartmouth Classics
The Dartmouth Classics consists of two days of racing for classic yachts and dayboats. The boats gather in Dartmouth in the days before the event, and racing takes place in Start Bay, visible from the South West Coast Path.
Dartmouth Classics will take place on 7th-8th June. The event is part of the Classic Channel Regatta, so we are expecting up to 100 participant boats.

Dartmouth in December
2024 saw the introduction of a new initiative to our Town calendar – Dartmouth In December.
Almost everyday in December had something fun, exciting and festive to get involved in, as businesses and local organisations alike embraced the initiative. From the return of the traditional Candlelit Weekend, to a spectacular weather-defying Fireworks display at NYE – it was a fun packed month.
Plans are already in play for 2025, so put Dartmouth in December in your diary, and join the festivities.
